It is no wonder that the Yarra Valley has grown to become one of Victoria's most sought-after wine regions. It lies just to the east of Melbourne, approximately one and a half hours drive from the city.

It is also a feast for the senses, a grand landscape of rolling green hills dotted with some of Australia's most respected vineyards. For well over a century, Melbournians have been lured to the Valley to sample its superb quality of table wines, its breathtaking natural beauty and its succulent produce.

We will take you to some of the areas famous wineries such as, Yarra Ridge, De Bortoli, Coldstream Hills and St. Huberts as well as excellent, small family wineries such as Diamond Valley Vineyards, Oakridge Estate, Long Gully and Shantell.

The French Champagne house, Moet et Chandon, set up its Australian sparkling winery here, Domaine Chandon. We will try to explore as many of these attractions as time allows, and a B-B-Q lunch will also be provided on this tour.
